End of year celebration and AGM 2019

shmu's end of year celebration and Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd December 2019 between 6pm-8pm in shmu HQ on Station Road, Woodside, Aberdeen.

It's a great opportunity for all our volunteers, partners and staff to come along and hear about what has been happening over the last year and what our plans are for the future.

The evening will consist of presentations made by the Chair of the Board and shmu's Chief Executive, and will include the opportunity to celebrate the work of the organisation and enjoy some light refreshements. shmu Trustees, who have served for two years, will stand down and be eligible for re-election.  The audited accounts will also be presented, and members will be asked to vote on the retention of our auditors.

We are also looking to recruit new members to our Board and are especially keen to invite applications from individuals with relevant skills and/or experience in any of the following areas: Asset Management, IT, Law, the Cultural Sector, and Media.  We are also very keen to attract individuals who either live or work in our target communities and have a strong belief in the ethos of the organisation and what it is trying to achieve.  If you require further details about the role of a shmu Trustee and/or an application form please contact Chrissie Simpson.
