It was acceptable in the 80s
The Ultimate 80s celebrate their 100th show with a very special show on Boxing Day, 26th December.
Presenters Dave Ironside and Colin Banks will be doing a two hour show on this date to celebrate 100 shows.
Dave said: “We are always being asked as to when we will do a two hour show but it's tight to fit it into the schedule so we appreciate being given this two hour slot to celebrate the milestone.”
Dave and Colin have been doing the show since January 2013 but have been friends since they were teenagers.
"I think that it comes across with the banter we have that Colin and I are mates, the shows seem to flow quickly and we have a great rapport with the listeners....and his music knowledge of the 80s is incredible,” said Dave.
Colin said: “Without the listeners there is no show, they really are the best, we love getting comments and feedback and have great banter with them during the show.”
Tune in on Boxing Day at 6pm and chill out for two whole hours with Dave “The Ironman” Ironside and Colin “The Musical Genius” Banks to enjoy the sounds of the 80s and some other surprises as well!
