The Torry’s Vision editorial team are looking for contributions for the summer 2020 edition of the magazine.
Whether you know someone, or an organisation, who has been going above and beyond to help others in the coronavirus pandemic, or maybe you want to look into a local issue or perhaps you’ve got some creative writing or photography to share, the team want you to get in touch.
The volunteers involved with the Woodside Free Press community magazine and the support team at shmu are passionate about continuing their magazine during this time. Woodside Free Press is put together by volunteers in partnership with shmu and its purpose is to share important local information, celebrate the community and encourage positive social change around the issues the community is passionate about.
Shmu will soon realise a long-held ambition of establishing a Community TV platform.
The project will offer residents in our target communities a new opportunity to express themselves about issues that they feel passionately about, and share them through live TV broadcasts.
Your favourite Breakfast show presenters are still bringing you shows despite being locked away in their homes. Sandy and Dave, better known as The Sandman and The Ironman are recording three days a week and broadcasting on Mondays, Wednesday's and Fridays from 7am to 9am.

After five incredible years of the Media Access Project (MAP) in HMP Grampian, it's time to say goodbye to this trailblazing project, celebrate its success and impact, and look to the future.
it’s been great to be back on air with shmu! I’ve been off air for a few months due to health reasons but since lockdown I’ve been able to record my shows from the comfort of my own home. Choosing the music, recording the links and editing. No two shows are ever produced the same way.
In light of the latest advice from the government and the NHS regarding coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision to close our building temporarily.This means that for the foreseeable future we will be working remotely and broadcasting community information in a different format.
