Summer is Cumming North

Summer magazine online now

The shiny new summer edition of Cumming North will be with residents very soon indeed.  If you can’t wait or don’t live in the catchment area, don’t panic, you can read it online here

This season’s magazine is up to its eyes in brilliant features, on the Art Gallery and how an installation in Northfield will fit into the renovation plans, a great piece on the referendum and a couple of news updates on local schools and Northfield Academy.

There is also a green-fingered article from the Northfield Neep, a curious tale about ‘Bog People’ (and no it isn’t about toilets!) and all the fab news and happenings from your local community organisation and information about what’s on in Northfield and Cummings Park.

The Cumming North magazine exists to provide a community publication that is aimed at giving a voice to the residents of Cummings Park and Northfield. This magazine looks to represent a wide selection of news, views, activities and events that take place in our community and report on the issues that are important to residents of Cummings Park and Northfield.

The magazine is put together by volunteer local residents from Cummings Park and Northfield who form the main editorial team behind each issue of the magazine.

Staff from shmuPRESS and shmuDESIGN assist the editorial teams in pulling together the magazine content, designing and getting the magazines to the printer. shmuPRESS also organises the distribution of the magazines in Cummings Park and Northfield.

If you are interested in getting involved you might want to attend one of our editorial meetings which helps us gather articles and information for future magazines.

If you live in the Cummings Park / Northfield area, or even if you are a teacher in one of the schools based in these communities we would love to hear from you.

You may want to let the editorial team know about a story that is important to you, or something you feel is worthy of greater publicity, if so you can also contact us on the details below.
