FIND Scotland

FIND Scotland is a partnership between SHMU, Screen Education Edinburgh and GMAC Film in Glasgow and is designed to support 12 exceptional candidates, aged 16-24, from a broad range of diverse backgrounds with ambition and passion to work within the film or television industries.
This exciting pilot programme aims to remove barriers into commissioning and employment, by developing participants existing skills, enabling them to successfully pursue their chosen career within the Scottish screen industries.
If you are aged 16-24, living in Scotland and you come from one of the following target groups we want to hear from you!
- Black, Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME)
- Living with a disability
- Rural communities / Geographically excluded
- Low income / Socio-economically excluded
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
- Women in technical roles and as creators of content
These target groups are currently under-represented in the Scottish screen industries. The FIND programme aims to identify talented and ambitious individuals from these groups and support them into commissioning and employment.
The programme will begin in May 2016 and run through to November 2016.
Deadline for applications is March 21st 2016.
