Make films, write reviews or present shows with shmu

Do you dream of becoming a DJ and making your way in the world of radio? Or how about creating content for magazines or designing the magazines?  What about learning about music and recording studios? How about becoming a filmmaker and learning all about camera work, angles and editing? Our fabulous team at shmu can help you to realise that ideal, by providing support and training to do just that.

A string of recent funding awards and hugely successful projects and collaborations have resulted in additional places for young people of academy age living in the shmu target areas of Northfield, Mastrick, Tillydrone, Cummings Park, Torry or Woodside.  Young people attending the schools in these areas (St Machar, Torry and Northfield) are also welcome. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to learn exciting new skills and find a career worth getting out of bed for every morning!
