shmu - very much open for business

(but not our building)

In light of the latest advice from the government and the NHS regarding coronavirus, we have made the difficult decision to close our building temporarily.  This means that for the foreseeable future we will be working remotely and broadcasting community information in a different format.

The shmu staff team and volunteers are aware that as a community service we have an important role to play regarding information sharing and community support during this time and are looking for people to work with us with a Tell Us campaign.

This will involve community members, organisations and local volunteers providing shmuFM with information which would be beneficial to the communities we serve, for example information about your services, exercise/activity ideas for those who are self-isolating and messages of support

This can be done in a variety of formats including recording an audio piece and sending it to us or providing a script for one of our presenters to record. Most smart phones have voice recording apps built in, but you can download high quality apps for free on the app/play store, including Voice Recorder.

If you would like any help with that or would like to be involved in this campaign please contact us by emailing tellus@shmu.org.uk.
