shmu volunteer barbecue this weekend!

Calling all volunteers, don’t forget that the fabulous shmu barbecue is almost upon us!  The annual event is being held here at station house media unit and will take place on Saturday 9th August from 12pm to 3pm.

The event is our way of saying THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers who give us their time, hard work and effort all year round.  The barbecue is open to all our volunteers, whether they are in radio, press or any other aspect of our business. If you volunteer at shmu then let Denise know if you can make it along, so that we know how much food we will need to order.

There will be activities for children, great food cooked by our 3 volunteer chefs-for-the-day and lots of fun.  Let’s hope the weather holds out and it stays sunny and warm for the whole day.
