shmu Summer Activities 2023

Summer at shmu is all about being creative, developing new skills, making friends and having fun!

This summer we have a series of One Day Challenges in Radio, Film and Music for young people in the regeneration communities of Aberdeen City, as well as a week long Summer Film school open to young people across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire!

One Day Challenges are open to young people of Secondary age, including the soon to be S1’s moving up from Primary 7, resident in Torry, Tillydrone, Cummings Park, Northfield, Seaton, Woodside and Middlefield, or due to be attending Northfield, Lochside or St Machar Academies. 

Summer Film School is open to young people aged 14-17 and will welcome young people with a genuine interest in filmmaking from across Aberdeen City and Shire.
