Calling All Young Filmmakers!

Are you aged 14-17 and living in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire? Do you have a passion for filmmaking and want to develop your skills? We have an exciting new FREE project just for you!

Introducing Our Young Filmmakers Project:

When: Every Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm starting September 10th

Where: shmu HQ in Woodside, Aberdeen

What: A year-long project designed to help you learn the art and craft of filmmaking, boost your confidence and work in a team to create a short film

You will receive hands-on training in key film industry roles such as cinematography, lighting, sound recording and editing.

The project will offer an inclusive space for you to explore your creativity and work with other young filmmakers to bring your ideas to the screen.

Led by experienced filmmakers, with lots of hands-on practical experience alongside masterclasses from industry practitioners, over the year long project you'll be led through the process of creating short films from start to finish.
