We are Recruiting!

Three brand new posts in our Film & TV team

As a result of significant investment over the next three years, we are looking for three dynamic and passionate film educators/makers to support the growth of our formal and informal film education and practical filmmaking programmes across North East Scotland.

Supported by considerable investment from The Sean Connery Foundation, and with additional funding through the Scottish Government’s CashBack for Communities and Investing in Communities programmes, we are ambitiously growing our Film and TV strand with the aim of using film as a creative outlet and as a tool for personal and/or collective expression, raising aspirations, building confidence and wider life skills, and increasing access to the filmmaking industry.

We are actively recruiting for three candidates to support us in this period of growth and development. Our Film & TV Manager will provide a pivotal leadership and direction for our programmes; our Film & TV Development Worker will support the development and delivery of our programmes, and our Film & TV Support Worker will create the opportunity of an entry level post providing support to the wider team while developing their practice.

Our Film & TV team deliver programmes which have an impact across our organisation, including our informal Youth Media programme, our work in schools, our employability programmes, our work with vulnerable adults, and our adult community development work. The successful candidates will be part of a passionate team who support the development of personal, creative and technical skills of participants, and will be instrumental in the design and delivery of training programmes in an engaging and supportive way.

The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about the development of individuals and communities and have the skills to share industry experience and knowledge in an enthusiastic and engaging way. An understanding of the national curriculum associated with the creative industries, and a willingness to build that knowledge will be beneficial.  There is an expectation that candidates will have the flexibility to be available to work a range of hours that could include evenings and weekends.

If you are an outstanding communicator with high levels of interpersonal skills who can work cooperatively within a team, whilst also having a proactive and self-motivated approach to the delivery of Film Education, Filmmaking and TV Production projects, we would love to hear from you.
