Easter Holiday Activities for Young People

SHMU are offering an exciting new training opportunity to young people of academy age living or attending the schools in the regenerations across Aberdeen or Primary 7s from the primary schools in these communities. We are offering this opportunity to young people to come along to shmu during the school Easter holidays to take part in mixed media training sessions where they will learn skills in radio production, film production, citizen journalism and music making.

Week 2

After the training if the young people is keen to continue their involvement at shmu then they will have the opportunity to join our youth media project where they can become a member attend regular sessions in film, music, magazine/journalism and radio after the holiday period. This will be available for all young people of academy age that live or attend the schools in the shmu target areas of Northfield, Cummings Park, Middlefield, Woodside, Tillydrone, Seaton and Torry.
