Mitchell School of Drama: Our Scotland

On the 24th of July 2014, some of our YRP members went along to the Lemon Tree to see the Mitchell School of Drama’s performance of ‘Our Scotland’. Mitchell School of Drama are an Aberdeenshire-based drama group who have taken part in the Aberdeen International Youth Festival for many years and never fail to disappoint.

 

Mitchell School of drama last year brought us the amazing performance of Williams Shakespeare the tempest. Our Scotland showcased a comedic take on relevant modern day Scottish life, shown in the form of a TV show.  

 

The performance was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. The show was very interactive and received great reviews from their audiences. We got some interviews from the cast Paul Patterson, Emma Thomson, Rosalind Watt and Finley Whelan-Duenas. We also spoke to the audience to get there thoughts and opinions on the show.
