UpClose & Musical at St Machar Cathedral

On the 28th of July 2014, our Youth Media Team went to see the Madison Youth Choir and Quarry Hill Primary School Choir at St Machar Cathedral. Both choirs teamed up to make a wonderful performance that I’m sure none of us will forget easily.
The Quarry Hill Primary School Choir stole my heart when they sang “Halleluiah” in Polish, which made me feel at home. The Primary School definitely has some talented pupils and they deserve a big applause for their hard work and dedication.
The Madison Youth Boy Choir is definitely a shining star in this year’s AIYF, performing together with the Grampian Youth Orchestra at the ‘Welcome Ceremony’ to create an outstanding showcase.
I believe the choir consists of 72 boys and is from USA, Wisconsin.
They played a verity of different songs in different languages like Latin. They also played some American country songs as well as some Religious songs.
I think that this has to be one of my favorite performances of this year’s AIYF alongside the International Concert.
