Youth Media Comics

The youth journalism group attended a workshop with a graphic novelist and illustrator on Saturday the 29th of November.

Lukasz, Fern, Yasmin and Connor attended the workshop at Central Library which was run by William Goldsmith as part of Book Week Scotland.

During the two hours the group were given a character to draw and developed a story around this character.

They then drew a six piece comic sketch of their story with guidance from William.

The Youth Media Team really enjoyed themselves at the workshop and were very pleased with the end results.

Book Week Scotland is a yearly week long celebration of books and reading.

The aim of Book Week is to encourage people of all ages and walks of life to come together and enjoy reading at events in community venues and libraries throughout the country.
