Youth Media visit STV

On Tuesday the 5th of April the youth journalism team from shmu were invited to the STV studios based in Aberdeen.

We decided to go because we wanted to see our future career options and see what happens behind the scenes of one of Scotland's largest news channels. We got to watch the news go live and watch the recording of some promos from the gallery. We learned how stressful it is to make a show.

A member of the team said this: “It was an amazing experience on how these shows are made and introduced a new possible career path for myself”.

In conclusion it was a good experience because it showed us it’s not that easy to produce a show and shows that if you work hard it’s easy to get into media.
