Electro House rising star joins shmuFM

Brand new show Electro House Sessions joins the shmuFM schedule this Tuesday, from midnight to 2am, hosted by one of Aberdeen's youngest and finest Electro House DJs, Dmix.

Dmix has previously featured on shmuFM, spinning his latest commercial mixes on DJ Kojo's Urban Swag show, and as part of a shmuTRAIN 12 week employability course when he co-presented the shmuTRAIN Takeover show with his fellow trainees.

It's an exciting time for local lad, Dmix - he has a series of events coming up at popular student venue, The Garage, featuring big names from the Electro House and Hard House scene, in addition to hosting his own weekly radio show on shmuFM.

After playing his first gig at the considerably young age of 16, he started his first residency in a well-known Aberdeen nightclub. Dmix played at the club for eight months before moving onto his own projects as a promoter, whilst also working with other local event groups. He started up his own events group called Affinity Club Nights in August 2013.  Dmix continues to play other national DJ gigs in Inverness, Edinburgh and Glasgow and - of course - still in his hometown of Aberdeen!

The Electro House Sessions will feature local and national Electro, House and Hard House DJs playing the very latest EDM hits, and the first show features exclusive mixes from Wayne McAndrew and Digital Mafia.
