Presenters Dave Ironside and Colin Banks will be doing a two hour show on this date to celebrate 100 shows.

Simon from the Current Affairs show headed down to Offshore Europe this week and managed to grab an interview with Professor Brian Cox. 

Offshore Europe visits Aberdeen every two years and invites people and companies in the oil and gas industry all over the world to come to Aberdeen.

shmuFM's Current Affairs team carried out an interview with Tommy Sheridan which was aired on Friday the 4th of September.

The socialist compaigner and cofounder of the Solidarity group was visiting the Granite City last week as part of a tour of several Scottish cities.

Youth Media Team goes to the Fringe

In collaboration with Media Education Edinburgh The Youth Radio Project teamed up with Media Educations young people to cover The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

Festival radio is a partnership project, run by Media Education Charity. It allows young people to work together to cover the Edinburgh and Lothian festivals.

Cherry Bomb returns to the shmuFM schedule

This Saturday night we welcome Cherry Bomb back to the shmuFM schedule.

Emma Fowlie returns to the airwaves, but this time she has co=presenter, Lori Wilson in tow.

The show will focus on music by women and current events, aiming to link the themes of the music with these events.

shmu volunteer BBQ

SHMU held its annual volunteer BBQ on Saturday the 8th of August and the team had a great time. The sun shone for one of the few days of the summer that Scotland seems to be allocated.

Jacqui, who presents Cumming North on a Monday morning did a fantastic job manning the BBQ stand and making sure everyone was well fed so well done her.
