A sad farewell

Wednesday the 14th of January is a sad day for shmuFM as we wave goodbye to one of our longstanding presenters, Neil Gibbons. 

Neil has been helping the people of Aberdeen wake up and get going by presenting the Breakfast Show on a Tuesday and a Wednesday morning between 7 and 9am for the last 3 years.

Neil said: "I wandered into SHMU hoping to promote the jazz festival and instead got roped in to presenting the breakfast show and the jazz show for the last 3 years! Over that time I have met and chatted to so many lovely people on air, in the studio and in the back office. It has been so much fun, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I'm off now to live in Perth. It's a lovely place and I'm looking forward to an exciting future and maybe do some radio volunteering there too, who knows. Thanks to everybody at SHMU and to the lovely audience. I'll miss you all."
