Talking Science on shmuFM

New science show joins Tuesday's line up

Talking Science is the latest show to join the shmuFM schedule this week. The dynamic new show - presented by an expert team from the University of Aberdeen - aims to bring science-related news and events to a wider audience, making science and technology more accessible and engaging for everyone.

Talking Science launches on Tuesday 17th June at 2pm, with an exciting show packed full of science news and views relevant to everyday life.  The show's presenters are Heather and Ken from the University's Public Engagement with Research Unit, and Amy - a PhD student working on drug discovery for prostate cancer.

The first Talking Science show focuses on 'electricity', and Nikola Tesla specifically, and each weekly show will feature interviews with scientists here in Aberdeen about their groundbreaking work.  Talking Science shows will also have regular features, including science you can try at home in DIY science, and a guide to science events taking place in and around the city.

Talking Science broadcasts every Tuesday from 2pm to 3pm.
