The Angela Joss ‘Bee You’ Memorial Award

We have launched The Angela Joss ‘Bee You’ Memorial Award, a community award which celebrates Angela’s life by recognising someone who not only fights for what they believe in, but helps other to achieve their dreams along the way.
 
Angela was a force of nature and was passionate about making the world a better place and through her many endeavours, she achieved that. Angela overcome her own challenges but worked tirelessly, pouring her heart and soul into supporting others to achieve their goals.

Children’s Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment (CRWIA)

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) policy is in the process of being enshrined in law. This has implications for all projects and work with young people up to an including 18-year-olds.

shmu Young Filmmakers Club

We're really delighted to announce the launch of our Young Filmmakers Club, which starts on 8th November 2023!

Thanks to funding from the Sean Connery Foundation and Cashback for Communities, our newest FREE youth project is aimed at young people aged 14-17 from across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire who have a genuine interest in filmmaking and would like to develop skills in all areas of the process - from initial concept and storyboarding, to filming, editing and everything inbetween!
