It's our birthday... Celebrate the cheese!

The Ultimate 80s celebrates their second birthday on January the 23^rd and presenters Dave Ironside and Colin Banks have a cheese filled show especially for you.

Dave said: “We were discussing how to celebrate the shows second birthday and Colin suggested we play an hour of the cheesiest 80s tracks imaginable.”

Youth Media Parent Day

Saturday 12^thof December saw the youth media team do their second last Saturday broadcast of the year at Station House.

With the end of the year looming, it was the perfect opportunity to invite parents and guardians in to SHMU to celebrate the achievements of the youth media team from the whole of 2015.

End of Year Gathering

On Monday the 14th of December SHMU held their annual end of year party for their volunteers.

We have a get together at SHMU to say thank to you all our volunteers for their hard work over the year.

The evening is very informal and a nice chance for people to catch up with other volunteers.

Youth Media Team head to Neverland

It has been a very long time since I myself had been to a panto. When I heard Peter Pan would be in theatres I was excited when the opportunity raised to see it. At first the idea of audience participation and sitting in a theatre filled with screaming children waving multi-coloured flashing swords was a bit unnerving.
