57 North: Craig Duncan & The Outlaws

Local dark alt-country on shmuFM

This week's featured artist on our 57° North Presents show is local alt country outfit Craig Duncan & The Outlaws! They appeared live on the show on Monday the 10th of April from 8-10pm, playing tracks from their debut album and treating us all to a live set!

Craig Duncan and The Outlaws is a country project blending in the songwriting style of older country music, as well as darker, conventional themes.

Formed in 2015, Craig Duncan and the Outlaws are an Alt Country/Gothic Americana band hailing from Aberdeen, and consisting of Mickey Robertson on Bass, Niamh Bowie on Drums, Emma Hall on Violin and Craig Duncan on Guitar and Vocals. With influences from the likes of Johnny Cash and Aurelio Voltaire to name but a few, The Outlaws are pleased to have launched their debut, self-titled album in January 2017.

You can check out Craig Duncan & The Outlaws at their Facebook, or at their Bandcamp.
