57 North Presents: Seabreeze
This week's featured artist on our 57° North Band of the Week Show is local indie rock band Seabreeze! They appeared live on the 57 North Presents on Monday the 10th of October from 8-10pm.
Seabreeze is a 4-piece indie rock band from Aberdeen, Scotland. The members all met and studied at Northfield Academy, where they all realised they had an interest in music.
The band started playing together with their current line-up this summer, and have gone on to receive many positive reviews from the gigs they’ve played since then. The band are constantly looking for opportunities to play gigs and have many gigs lined up until the end of the year.
Taking influences from many bands, from The Libertines to the Arctic Monkeys, as well as Oasis and The Stone Roses, the band are always writing new material and have received high praise from the material they’ve written so far, being compared to the popular indie bands today.
The bands self-titled debut EP ‘Seabreeze’ officially released on 16th September 2016, and can be purchased on iTunes and is available on Spotify and Soundcloud.
