57 North Presents: Welcome our new host Alan Henderson!

Alan's first show is from 8-10pm on Monday 8th October

We’re delighted to welcome new 57 North Presents host Alan Henderson to shmuFM!

Alan has extensive experience in student radio and journalism and (in his own words) "fends off his mid-20s malaise by obsessively curating Spotify playlists and playing synths with local alt-rockers Forest Fires, proving that if you hang around musicians for long enough they'll eventually ask you to play something regardless of musical talent".

Alan also said: "I’m very chuffed to be returning to radio with 57 North Presents. I've been making noises about doing something to promote new - especially local - music for ages now, and my friends will no doubt be relieved that I'm getting to do something with SHMU rather than starting a podcast they'd have to pretend to be interested in."

He hosts his first show on Monday 8th October from 8-10pm live on shmuFM and online here, expect a great mix of local music, guests and more...
