Band of the Week: Better Enemies

Pop-rock outfit Better Enemies feature on shmuFM

This week, we're featuring pop-rockers Better Enemies! You can hear them live on the Band of the Week Show on Monday the 16th of May from 8-10pm. You'll hear tracks from their eponymous debut album on all of our primetime shows, as well as the BotW show itself.

Better Enemies are a 4-piece energetic pop-rock band from Aberdeen. They have created a fast-paced, guitar driven sound that draws influence from bands such as Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic.

They came together in 2012 under the name Suburban Saints, and then quickly established themselves within the Aberdeen scene, releasing an 11 track album and a string of singles. In the summer of 2015 the recording of a new record and a new sound brought about the change of name.

Better Enemies' self-titled debut contains upbeat, melodic verses and sing-along anthemic choruses which translate onto the stage with a high energy, dynamic live show tailored made for the UK music scene.

You can tune in to the Band of the Week Show on 99.8fm or online right here. You can also request Better Enemies on any of our live shows, by getting in touch with the studio

As always, don't worry if you miss the show - you can listen again until the 23rd, or tune in the old-fashioned way from midnight to 2am on Friday night for the repeat.
