Band of the Week: Connor Clark

This week on shmuFM, we've got Connor Clark as our Band of the Week - you can hear him live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 4th of July from 8-10pm.

Connor Clark is an indie rock musician who started out in late 2014/early 2015 and has only progressed since he was last on the Band of the Week Show. The crowds he is playing to are getting bigger and bigger and always get them on their feet. He is now set to headline his own series of gigs in Aberdeen.

Having produced his debut EP at the start of the year he has managed to build himself an audience from around the country, and is receiving some great feedback. As time goes on, his influences are still the same, however with a few extras from Oasis and Arctic Monkeys to The Foo fighters, Stereophonics and Royal Blood.

"I write for the sake of writing really, whatever I think sounds good I'll make a tune out of it. Some songs have meanings - others don't."
