Band of the Week: Connor Taylor

This week's featured artist on shmuFM is Connor Taylor! He'll appear and perform live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 17th of November from 8-10pm.

Connor Taylor is a 20 year old singer/songwriter and guitarist from Aberdeen who writes mainly acoustic folk songs. Recently graduated from North East Scotland College with an HND in music, Connor originally began studying music to pursue a career in teaching, however part of the course required that he wrote his own music - it was during this part of the course that he discovered a real passion and joy for writing songs.

Connor released his first EP Ice and Fire at the end of last year and is currently recording his second EP Wasted Opportunities which is aiming for a release at the end of November/Start of December of this year.
