Band of the Week: Craig Duncan & The Outlaws

Our featured artist this week on shmuFM is Craig Duncan & The Outlaws. You can hear them live on the Band of the Week Show on Monday the 21st of September from 8-10pm. You'll hear their latest EP, a live set, you'll get to know them, and even what makes them outlaws...

Craig Duncan and The Outlaws is a country project blending in the songwriting style of older country music, as well as darker, conventional themes. It currently features two permanent members - Craig Duncan and Emma Hall - with the idea of having other musicians able to drop in and out as needed.

Craig plays the guitar and sings, and Emma plays the fiddle, giving the band their unique sound. They are planning to record their debut album later this year. They are influenced by bands and artists such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and local bands such as BotW veterans Full Fat! The self-titled EP can be found on their Facebook, and is available to download at the Bandcamp page, as a teaser of good things to come.
