Band of the Week: Dave Bremner
Local rock poet Dave Bremner is featured this week on shmuFM as our Band of the Week - you can hear him live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 2nd of November from 8-10pm, where you'll hear his latest tracks, and some acoustic tunes live - as well as getting to know him and what he's up to.
Dave Bremner is a: "Husband – Father – Martial Artist – Poet – Singer/Songwriter – Reiki and Meditation practitioner and all round good egg.” He calls his songs rock poems, and we’ve found that’s an apt way to describe them!
Dave’s own songs have been recorded either as solo projects or with a band of eclectic musicians called Luna Reklipse. Dave is now writing and performing with a somewhat more relaxed sound – although the 70s glam and heavy rock influences are here to stay!
His new EP, My Life – My Music, is released by Star 1 Entertainment this month, and will give you a chance to enjoy a bit of rock mixed with a bit of country. Later this year, Dave will also be re–releasing a Celtic Rock track called Highland Home, with any profits going to a Scottish cancer relief charity called, very aptly, CLAN.
