Band of the Week: Downstairs

Wondering what Downstairs is? Downstairs is what happens when you have a few naughty waters with a friend and say “We should buy a pub!” It’s also a local music venue under The Malt Mill.

While Downstairs has had a lot of touring acts in over the last couple of years, it prides itself on being a local music venue for local musicians, and is very focused on helping develop the local scene.

Downstairs is also hoping to continue to improve upon their 14+ offer to encourage more young musicians to get in touch and get gigging. Check out Downstairs on Facebook – you’ll probably find plenty of familiar names from the Band of the Week Show playing there soon!
