Band of the Week: Fitlike Records
This week on the Band of the Week Show, we're featuring not an artist, not a band, but instead we're featuring a collective of North-East artists - Fitlike Records! You can catch CS Buchan and various others under the Fitlike Records banner live on the show on Monday the 2nd of March from 8-10pm.
Fitlike Records like to work under the ethos that, if you can do it yourself, then do it.
Fitlike Records is a collective of North-East Scotland artists and musicians with a shared interest in working with each other to achieve something cool, unique, funny, rancid, and/or beautiful. It is a micro operation that’s really about using networks of like-minded creative people in the North-East that work together, lending experience, skills and talents to the wider benefit of creative culture in the North-East.
It’s not about doing stuff for people but enabling them to help themselves through contributions, collaborations and love-ins that provide a new platform to showcase talent that might otherwise be overlooked.
