Band of the Week: Foxbeef

This week on shmuFM, our featured artist is Foxbeef! You can hear Foxbeef live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 22nd of June from 8-10pm, where you'll get to know all about Foxbeef, where their music comes from, where they come from, what the name means and much, much more.

Foxbeef is a four-piece band playing hard-edged rock with melodic overtones. Influences range from Foo Fighters to Alice in Chains, but they have developed their own sound from playing together since late 2010.

Foxbeef will be releasing their first album, Shattered Echoes, on the 27th of June. It will be available as a physical CD directly from the band, as well as digital download on iTunes, and to stream on Spotify, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.

To celebrate the launch, Foxbeef will be having an album launch show at one of their favourite places to play - The Moorings Bar. They chose this venue as it’s always been a great place for the band to play, and audiences in Aberdeen seem to have really taken to the band’s music.
