Band of the Week: Franklin

This week's featured band is Franklin! You can hear them live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 26th of January from 8-10pm, with our guest presenters Aron Smith and Bob  where you'll hear some of their studio tracks, and and tunes that have inspired and influenced Franklin as a band - as well as getting to know the band and what they're up to.

Franklin is an alternative/indie rock band from the silver city of Aberdeen, formed in June 2013. Earlier this year, Franklin performed at the O2 ABC in Glasgow - in front of some of the most influential members of the music industry - as part of the UK Soundwave competition that they auditioned for last year, when they sent a couple of tracks in to be judged - you can hear these tracks at their Soundcloud.

The band as a whole is continuously working hard to achieve the best sound from their talents and constantly strive for great song writing. Most of the members are either at college, school or full time work but they always make time for Franklin and hope that one day this will be their full time careers.
