Band of the Week: Sporkz

This week on shmuFM, we've got Sporkz as our Band of the Week - you can hear them live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 16th of February from 8-10pm.

Sporkz is an Aberdeen-based electronic trio started in 2012. Members are Michael Allan (vocals), Chris Paterson (guitars, vocals and  programming) and Stephen Mitchell (bass, vocals and programming).

They create electronic sounds built around big beats, loud guitars, many  synths and plenty of samples. They have a wide variety of influences coving many different genres often  mixing different styles within their tunes. They have played a few gigs around Aberdeen, most recently as part of the  Binary School in 42 Below.

All tunes are written, recorded, produced and master in a home built studio. Many of their tunes are available at their Soundcloud.
