Band of the Week: The Strives

This week on shmuFM, we're delighted to feature The Strives. You can hear them live on the Band of the Week Show on Monday the 7th of December from 8-10pm. You'll hear their latest tracks, their influences, their backstory and what they strive to be, and much more.

The Strives are a three piece Scottish based band combining powerful in-your-face guitar and bass structures with thunderous drums, bringing a very original raw and loud sound to the scene. They are constantly working on new material, whilst being in the studio for the past couple of months they have a new EP made with the main aim to deliver a new wave of fresh music.

The band have accumulated quite a following in which they intend to increase in the following string of Gigs to come, with the likes of support slots of up and coming band “Lionel”. With influences such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Royal Blood and Kasabian, it is clearly heard through there music abilities. Delivering a dynamic and explosive performance, this is a band not to be missed.
