Band of the Week: UNIFORM

This week's Band of the Week is UNIFORM

Local pop-rockers UNIFORM are featured this week on shmuFM as our Band of the Week - you can hear them live on the Band Of The Week Show on Monday the 20th of October from 8-10pm, where you'll hear some of their studio tracks, and some acoustic tunes live - as well as getting to know the band and what they're up to.

Uniform is a 5-piece pop/rock band hailing from the North East of Scotland. Their main influences are big Scottish bands like Travis, Idlewild, Big Country, Deacon Blue and Simple Minds. They’ve just released their debut album Runaways, and are currently working on an acoustic EP entitled Youth - all tracks are available to download on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and hard copy from the band.

They’ve recently branched out, enlisting female vocalist Katie Tustin alongside the rest of the lineup, as featured on their single Eighteen, and at the moment Uniform is performing as a two-piece acoustic act. You can find out more by listening to the Band of the Week Show on shmu.org.uk/fm.

As usual, you can hear Uniform's tracks on any of our live shows by getting in contact with the studio on 01224 483413, by texting 60300 (type SHMU, leave a space and then your message) or by emailing studio@shmu.org.uk.

The Band Of The Week Show is repeated every Friday at midnight until 2am on 99.8FM, and you can listen to the show here on our website using the live stream or Listen Again feature.
