Voice of the Dead winner to get amazing prizes

This Thursday sees the final of Slains Castle's Voice of the Dead competition - and the winner will get some amazing prizes, including the chance to record an EP at our shmuSOUND Recording Studio in Tillydrone.

The acoustic competition has been running since Halloween - hence the name - and winners of the early rounds were selected by filming those taking part and posting on to YouTube. Those with the most likes were put through to the next round.

In the semi-finals, a panel of judges chose the top two acts, with the final place given over to the public vote.

For the final, it will all be on the votes of the judges and the winner will be announced on the night.

5 of the 6 finalists have now been confirmed and they include Davy Shanks, Zakary Robb, Keiran Adams & Isla L. Trahan and Emma Hay.

Starting at 9pm on Thursday, it's free entry (over 18s only though) and with other prizes including £150 of vouchers for iiMusic, one of the acts will walk away with quite a loot.

For more information, head over to the Slains Castle Facebook page. Once we have the EP recorded with the winner, we'll be sure to play it on shmuFM, so if you can't make it on Thursday, check back on our site on Friday to see who won.
