shmuFM Band of the Week: Ray Brower

This week's Band of the Week is Ray Brower! You can hear them live on the Band of the Week Show on Monday the 14th of April from 8-10pm.

Ray Brower is a metal/hardcore four-piece band from Aberdeen. Founded in March 2011, Ray Brower (named after the body the four boys in cult movie "Stand by Me" go searching for) started as a rap-metal band with no aspirations other than making noise.

In early 2013, things naturally progressed to a heavier, darker form of metal. Influenced by everything they hear and see, they write what they enjoy listening to. Since winning the Fat Hippy Battle of the Bands, they look to get their name out there as much as possible and generally impress with their approach to the music they make.
