shmuFM Band of the Week: YME
This week on shmuFM, our featured artist is local singer-songwriter YME. You can hear her live on the Band of the Week Show on Monday the 30th of June from 8-10pm.
Singer-songwriter YME has been writing original music since her teens. To date, she has independently released the albums "Dead To The World" and "Kaleidoscope" from her own label YME MUSIC.
YME is currently working on her third album "Landmarks", which is due for international release in August 2014. The first single to be taken from this new album is available for download from iTunes, along with a music video available on YouTube.
Her song "Kaleidoscope" made it all the way to the finals of the 2013 "Song of the Year" international songwriting competition. She isn’t one to give up, and will do everything in her power to be an internationally recognised songwriter - and with the continued support from her loyal fan base, she's sure to do just that!
