Rock'n'Roll Bingo at the Aberdeen Arts Centre!

It's almost time for our next shmu fundraising - Rock'n'Roll Bingo! This coming Tuesday, 7pm at the Aberdeen Arts Centre, we will be playing you all your favourite hits and adding lady luck!
We've had a few questions about this fundraiser, including 'What makes it rock'n'roll?' and 'What is rock and roll bingo?'? First of all, nothing really makes it rock'n'roll - it just sounds cool - although there are many songs that'll appease the rock'n'rollers out there! Meatloaf, Thin Lizzy, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine to name a few. Now, the harder question - what is it?
This will be just like ordinary bingo - you will be given a bingo card, and will mark off songs as you go! Instead of numbers, you will get a card of artists & songs, and instead of a bingo caller, we will be hitting play on our randomly played mix of sonds, and you will mark them off as you hear them! You will get 15-25 seconds of top songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's - two rounds of each, followed by one bonus round of noughties hits! Still not sure how it will work - have a look at this instagram posts.
We are also offering a couple of cash prizes for some of the games, but as a charity we are also very grateful to businesses in Aberdeen supporting our event. We have tonnes of great prizes - from local record label Captain Toms HMV, to... ourselves! Colin from Seventies on shmu and Dave from Ultimate 80's on shmuFM are offering two lucky prizewinners the opportunity to co-present/guest on their shows! If you get a line - you win a song and a shout out on Disco Dave and Kit-Kat Kenny's Request Show!
Tickets cost £10 and include all games - you can pay on the door or buy your tickets online! We will see you on Tuesday!
