Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month Show

June marks Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month and shmuFM wanted to create a show to mark the occasion. 

At shmu we pride ourselves on amplifying voices which are often mis- or under-represented in the mainstream media. 

The Gypsy, Roma, Traveller community have a rich culture and history in Scotland, but regularly face discrimination and prejudice.

For this show we spoke to Gypsy Traveller activists from Article 12, an organisation who works with and advocates for the community throughout Scotland.
