shmu volunteer BBQ

SHMU held its annual volunteer BBQ on Saturday the 8th of August and the team had a great time. The sun shone for one of the few days of the summer that Scotland seems to be allocated.

Jacqui, who presents Cumming North on a Monday morning did a fantastic job manning the BBQ stand and making sure everyone was well fed so well done her.

Western Arts University Ambassadors (USA)

The story was called “Blazing Tides” and it was about the struggles and conflicts between the elements of fire and water. The story was influenced by a range of stories and films such as Romeo and Juliet and The Last Airbender.

AIYF International Variety Gala

It has finally come to an end of AIYF 2015! AIYF finished on the 1st of August at the ‘HMT’ with spectacular performances; we are sad to see all performers gone and were all glad seeing our bright performers and their performances this year. We went to see variety of events and big applause for all the performers at the AIYF, Aberdeen is proud that you brought smiles to our faces.

Up Close and Musical AIYF

This Up Close and Musical event was held at St Mary’s Church on Thursday the 28th of July. The all singing concert ranged from many different styles from classical to theatrical and bits in between with each piece being accompanied with a piano. Each performer never failed to put on a performance and powerfully sold their songs to the audience.
